Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
I did see facetious remarks that Book of Eli was a Zardoz remake. It was pretty funny. But I haven't seen anything in seriousness.

I stumbled onto Zardoz really late one night a few years back. I could not turn the TV off, it was so oddly compelling.
