Oh, this is funny -- on that netflix map, you can see that Paul Blart, Mall Cop is more popular near the mall where they filmed it. [link]
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

They've finally taken down the huge Sherlock Holmes ad on my way into work...and replaced it with nothing. I feel empty. It would have been cool if they put up this Legion poster, but I suspect that's out of the film's budget. Or maybe something from Book of Eli. Well, I guess putting up nothing is better than replacing the smaller ones with lap band billboards which happened nearer home.
I'm just sad because I'm convinced that Legion will totally suck, despite Bettany's hotness, and Book of Eli will mostly suck.

The Bettany movie I want to see is Creation.
I love my dead gay city.
And I love any Heathers reference!
With the obvious caveat that my opinion doesn't count since I haven't seen the movie, I quite like that review.
The Pope is just mad that Avatar did not feature a tall blue alien Pope.
Or maybe he wanted it to be The Last Temptation of the Giant Smurf Christ.
