And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ok, I haven't even SEEN the movie and that cracked my shit up, Matt!

Saw I Love You, Man this afternoon. Hey, it's funny!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I just saw Let the Right One In. I was very tired and sleepy, and the movie was slow, which was not a good combination. It was kinda fucked-up. But definitely not your typical vampire movie.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There are doves, there's a kidnapping! There's a boat chase! Explosions!

As, I believe, J. Hoberman said (paraphrasing), when John Woo really cuts loose, he risks being called John Woo Woo.

The last Nic Cage movies I had an interest in (and the last one I saw) was ADAPTATION. Which was the last time I saw old-school Nic Cage in a movie, pretty much.

Good, it's on Emmett's must-see list. Though it must be said that he came to his Apatow-bro-comedy preference honestly by first watching all of Freaks and Geeks, then Undeclared.

Hey. New board.

I enjoyed I Love You, Man as well. It's funny that Apatow apparently had absolutely nothing to do with it, though.

It's within the Apatow Penumbra though just by the pairing of Segal and Rudd.

And the director worked on Undeclared.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Let the Right One In

We watched this last week. It was gorgeous to look at and the kids were really good (especially the girl who played Eli), but overall it was rather slow. We gave it a 3 out of 5.
