Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm thinking of a movie. It might be Jackie Chan, it might be Tony Jaa, it might be someone else entirely, but in the opening scene he's making noodles. Do you know what movie it is?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Nope. No More Mr. Nice Guy.

Oh, that movie was shot in Melbourne. I saw them filming one of the scenes.

Really? From the imdb trivia page...

Because of the mess they left behind (from the demolished house), the production company was barred permanently from ever filming in that part of Australia again.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Saw Watchmen again last night.

I did like it better, although I still think more skilled editing and sound use could have been used. Several songs were far louder than the rest of the movie and ripped me out of the story. They still felt tacked on and badly integrated, if at all.

As an overall *movie* it seemed to not have focus and meandered and shifted all over the place.

I would have appreciated the long, drawn-out fight scene with the Comedian if the stunt double and use of concealing shadows weren't so heavily used.

Jamie Earle Haley broke my fucking heart at the end.
