So...who's seen this Jerry Cornelius movie?
I have! Of course, it was about 25 or 30 years ago, so my recollection is very hazy. Back then I was right into Moorcock, and read all the Jerry Cornelius novels, so I was very excited to learn they'd made a movie of The Final Programme. I barely remember the movie but I do recall it was a let-down; it was very confusing but I suspect that was more the result of censorship, since it was on TV back in the late 70s slash early 80s.

Oh and three films that look interesting:

and
Black Dynamite [link]
On the Paranormal Activity front, I've heard good things about it, but am somewhat reluctant to travel and see it. As someone who's had a few creepy nighttime things happen over the years, I suspect it would weird me out in ways that more blatant in-your-face horror movies can't.
I saw PA last year. It creeped everyone out at the screening but me -- even so it's still a no-budget movie with non-actors, not the second coming of Halloween.
Huh. Interesting article on the flopping of
Jennifer's Body

(I maintain that, while uneven, it's the most thought-provoking movie I've seen in a long time.)
I pissed I didn't get it to see it with being sick, and I'm not sure it's around up here anymore.
I want to see
Good Hair.
The commercials crack me up!

It'll play well on the small screen. I'm going to buy it on DVD as soon as it comes out.
It sounds like it's going to have a long, culty life on DVD, so. And it is still here! But I don't know if that'll be true this weekend.
