Our wings are not tired.

I Netflixed one of my all-time favorite silly films--"Logan's Run" and watched it last night (along with "Gran Torino", which I still don't know what to make of...) and am now re-watching to hear the commentaries. I love this movie.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I think I have now seen the worst movie ever -- Monster-a-Go-Go. Astronaut returns from mission, but something's wrong -- he's a 10-foot radiation-spewing monster who kills people by getting too close.

With a title like Monster-a-Go-Go, I expected a fun little monster-from-outer-space flick. Not necessarily good, but at least entertainingly not-good.

No such luck. It's just bad. The script is bad. The acting is bad. The sound quality is bad. The lighting is bad. The plot resolution is bad. And not even in the fun way of, say, Plan 9.

The movie runs about 65 minutes. About 3 of those minutes involves a trucker helping a stranded motorist and not getting that she's trying to seduce him. So the monster can get into his truck, kill him, and make his way to Chicago.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Has MST-3K ever done Monster-a-Go-Go? The name sounds familiar....

What big-name movies are coming out this fall for Oscar season? My dad and I were trying to come up with movies we were looking forward to seeing, and we really couldn't think of anything.

I've seen a fair number of episodes and don't remember that one. It was on TCM Underground this weekend.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

My boyfriend is a big fan of old horror movies, especially the Universal monster movies. On one of the boards he frequents, someone posted a link to a trailer for House of the Wolf Man, an independent film made in the style of those old movies. I thought there were some people around here who might think it's cool (I did, and Universal monster movies don't do much for me)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The only film that I know is generating Oscar buzz already is The Hurt Locker & it's already in theatres.

Yahoo is my source for info on upcoming films. Coming Soon

SEE MOON IMMEDIATELY!

Also, I haven't seen Hurt Locker yet, but I've heard nothing but very good things about it, from friends who have seen it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett and I saw The Hangover this afternoon and enjoyed it mightily.

When is Iron Man coming out?
