Oh, uh -- when Nite Owl hacked into Ozymandias's computer, did anyone notice the folder on the computer named "Boys"? I wondered if we were supposed to deduce something from that.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Did they use any Billie Holiday or dub music?
Yes Billie Holiday. Not sure about dub.
I liked Judge Dredd.
Me too! I mean, I saw it when I was a teenager, so maybe I wouldn't like it now. But I also loved Demolition Man.
Opening credits were made entirely of win.
Thumbs up!
But I also loved Demolition Man.
See, while I thought Judge Dredd achieved Johnny Moronic levels of badness, I loved Demolition Man. It was STOOPID, rather than stupid.
And, yeah, concur about the credits.
Steph - Yes! I commented on that to my brother at the time. Also that when they had all the news stories reporting on the devastation, one carried the caption "Tiffany Burns". Which, she's not the only one, surely.
Ok, now I'm imagining - and given some of the other musical choices they made, I don't think this is outside the realm of possibility - that when Dr Manhattan and Laurie return to New York, it's to the tune of "I Think We're Alone Now".
I'm seeing it from start to finish tomorrow. I bet the movie would be 75% better with a more carefully chosen soundtrack. Snyder should watch more Tarantino flicks.
Naked parachuting is like riding a motorcycle in flipflops. So not a good idea.
Theo, I think you meant to post that in F2F.
