No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

I told my mom she might enjoy it, but my nose is too out of joint about them slapping the Cloverfield name on Valencia/The Cellar at the last minute as a blatant cash grab. Stick to Star Wars JJ, it seems like you're actually doing things right for that franchise somehow.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I hope all the Matrix/Zack Snyder slo-mo is just for the trailer and not in the movie.

Ladies who like Sebastian Stan (and Fed Pete, if you do too), do yourselves a favor and go see The Bronze while it's still playing on the big screen. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

brillig

Apparently, appreciating him is the best thing you're going to get out of the movie.

True, but I do think the movie is worth seeing apart from him. Melissa Rauch's character is very hard to like, but after the first 20 minutes or so I did find myself rooting for her. And Gary Cole is his usual awesome self.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Airplane trips were full of movies this past week:

Creed, The Danish Girl, Mr. Holmes, and Gravity.

Creed was amazing. Gravity anxiety attack inducing.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Gravity seems like a terrible movie to watch on a plane!

In hindsight not the best choice, but I managed. Interesting compared to The Martian which in many ways is similar, but did not ping me in the same ways.

I tried to watch Gravity on TV at home and that first crack-the-whip spacewalk scene with Bullock and Clooney sent me diving for the remote. I'll just have to take everyone's word for how great the movie is.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh dang, I forgot I wanted to see Mr Holmes and Gravity!
