Daniel, your last pairing is spoilery.
Which one, the one I had white fonted, or the one I just added white font to?
'Out Of Gas'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I think that R2D2 actually was programmed to wake in the presence of Rey. I suspected at the end that she is Luke's daughter.
I think I'm going to see it earlier than planned, as my cousin Betsy (whose taste in entertainment mirrors mine almost perfectly) absolutely loved it and I want to be able to discuss it with her at the family gathering Thursday afternoon.
Interesting fan theory about Kylo Ren. Basically, emo boy is in deep cover.
Interesting theory. I wish I believed JJ was that deep, because I'd like to believe Han died for a good reason.
It is quite interesting, though I don't know if it'll pan out. It is very REN KILLS HANBLEDORE.
It is very
Oh, snap, it is!
My newly Ren-obsessed friend has been referring to him as Snape in space so THIS WOULD TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
The whole movie, I just kept thinking that Kylo Ren just needed some good anger management strategies.
I loved the moment in the final light saber battle when Kylo says "Light side sux! Let me train you in the Force!" and she's all "OH RIGHT THE FORCE" and proceeds to wipe the floor with him.
I loved this moment so, so much, although I thought Ren's look read more "What the fuck you know about the force? Hold on, lemme school you right quick." Ha! That look brought a little hood out in me, I guess. Anywho, I was all about it.
One interesting theory I read about Kylo Ren on another site: he's naturally weaker in the Force than expected based on his legacy. This led to a feeling of inadequacy that allowed him to be lured to the Dark Side. Because of his "weakness" he's learned to surrender to his rage even further than any Sith we've seen before, which gives him a lot of power, but makes him unstable.
