Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Interesting theory. I wish I believed JJ was that deep, because I'd like to believe Han died for a good reason.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It is quite interesting, though I don't know if it'll pan out. It is very REN KILLS HANBLEDORE.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It is very

Oh, snap, it is!

My newly Ren-obsessed friend has been referring to him as Snape in space so THIS WOULD TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

The whole movie, I just kept thinking that Kylo Ren just needed some good anger management strategies.

I loved the moment in the final light saber battle when Kylo says "Light side sux! Let me train you in the Force!" and she's all "OH RIGHT THE FORCE" and proceeds to wipe the floor with him.

I loved this moment so, so much, although I thought Ren's look read more "What the fuck you know about the force? Hold on, lemme school you right quick." Ha! That look brought a little hood out in me, I guess. Anywho, I was all about it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

One interesting theory I read about Kylo Ren on another site: he's naturally weaker in the Force than expected based on his legacy. This led to a feeling of inadequacy that allowed him to be lured to the Dark Side. Because of his "weakness" he's learned to surrender to his rage even further than any Sith we've seen before, which gives him a lot of power, but makes him unstable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's interesting, Kalshane. And lines up with the old classic "fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering" that we learned from Yoda.

It also would explain his Vader worship and why he would turn his back on Luke. He'd see his uncle as intentionally holding him back with his teachings about balance and resisting the lure of the Dark Side. While we don't know much about Snoke, I could easily see him telling a young Ben Solo that his uncle was training him poorly because he was afraid of him. That his weakness in the Force wasn't Ben's fault, but rather Luke sabotaging him.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That's pretty much how I feel about him, Kalshane. I think all the jokes about him being an emo weenie kind of miss the point that he is probably MEANT to come across as more pathetic than intimidating.

Punishingly Intricate

We finally saw Star Wars this afternoon and I don't have anything to add to what ya'll have said except that, if you haven't already, and you enjoyed John Boyega in it, you must see Attack the Block . That is a freaking great movie.
