Complete sensory overload.
Yup, pretty much.
'The Girl in Question'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Complete sensory overload.
Yup, pretty much.
Gonna try to get my sister and her BF to go see Fury Road with me tonight. It may be too much for them.
OMGMADMAX.
I walked out of the theater behind some women who hated it! Bah to them, I say. BAH.
I will say, at first I was a little "Huh" and "???" and then the guitar kicked in, I laughed out loud, and was in for the ride.

Yes! That guitar made me laugh every time.
That movie had better win all the design Oscars. Jesus, just everything. I think I've just now caught my breath.
Loved the whole movie, every gorgeous, loud second of it.
I just got back from it. Enjoyable and with some awe-inspiring stuntwork, but I wasn't as wowed by the overall movie as I'd expected. There have been three movies I've seen in the last couple of months that I thought were better.
Fury Road tonight. Should we go for 3D or standard?
Jess says not 3D. Jessica "Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai" May 12, 2015 8:33:03 pm PDT (I went back through this thread last night.)
I thought the 3D was unnecessary and kind of distracting - the entire movie was just very slightly out of focus. I vote 2D.
