Just... if you know a good place to get pie, it might be a good idea to watch it at a time they will be open when you finish the movie.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Just saw What We Do in the Shadows a totally hilarious and charming film about vampires in New Zealand, made by Jermaine Clement (half of Flight of the Conchords) and the unknown to me, but now a total crush, Taika Watiti. If it's near you, go see it! I can't imagine a Buffista not enjoying the hell out of it,
Thanks for the rec, Scrappy, I was wondering about that one.
I've really been wash bring to see it, but not quite enough to drive into DC

Saw it Friday. Randomly laughed out loud throughout the weekend thinking of the funniest lines.
FYI: There was a color remake of On the Beach at some point.
There was?
I only know this because I saw the DVD at the library last week. A made-for-TV movie with Armand Assante, Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown.

Um, what?
I'm assuming the "wash bring" was an autocorrect of "wishing".
We just saw Big Hero 6 on digital rental. I should have just said "marvel Disney animated movie ajoht robots" to myself before renting, and bought it instead. Definitely a movie I will be watching again with little Calvin. So fun!
It wasn't as good as the Lego Movie, but it was very good, and I am more likely to rewatch it due to the Disney style heart factor.
Another option for the mystery Philly movie is Lt. Robin Crusoe USN. And it's a Disney movie. Though I don't know how the deep red glowing pit or computers fit in. The show is over. I hope they announce the answer tomorrow.
