I don't know how I feel about all this. Too many wars. No Black Widow movie. Possible Cumberbatch overload. Maybe I won't feel anything about it for a while.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Captain Marvel – July 6th 2018 – featuring the Carol Danvers character
YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
Without knowing anything that I didn't just read on wikipedia, I am a little more interested in Ragnarok if it's the comic book cyborg clone of Thor and not the mythological battle that kills Odin, Thor, Loki, Heimdall, etc.
Oh man I forgot about him! Now I wonder if that's what they're doing. Ha.
The subtitle of the next Captain America movie has me very, very worried.

Again, according to my extensive 5 minutes of reading wikipedia, apparently it comes out of the Civil War business?

Word. I am not stoked about a serious Iron Man-Captain America fight.
edit: But some tense debate between the two of them as they fight some other problem, that would work.

I did not know that! Maybe you're onto something!
Feige says their adaptation of Civil War will be about governments wanting to control superheroes rather than secret identities. Maybe the Superhuman Registration Act will not so much be about registering your identity but having to work for the government.
having to work for the government.
That could be interesting. Steve is perceived as "My country right or wrong" but he's an idealist and he saw how corruption can taint good organizations. Tony is a practitioner of realpolitik and has no problem with using whatever tools he can get his mitts on. But he's also seen his tech abused by corruption.
I do think that the MCU has set a nice precedent for things going very much NOT in line with comics canon (e.g. what happened with Extremis), so maybe I don't have to worry quite so much.
