This person's issue was with Cap specifically rather than Chris Evans or his portrayal. I have no idea if she saw Evans in any other movies that would have influenced her impression. (Though if you're looking for a douche role for him, Lucas Lee certainly qualifies.)

Did Chris do a bunch of fratty movies? I know the description matches Johnny Storm
Lucas Lee the skateboarder in the Scott Pilgrim movie! (Although I think he was hilarious and perfect in that movie. There are even mock posters of movies that his character was in: [link]
I have not seen that. Worth looking at?
Heh, it was a short-lived Fox series that I don't think anyone actually remembers, but it had Chris Evans, Milo Ventimiglia, and Allison Mack! I remember enjoying it and finding it funny, but I think it's me and this one other person.
(Though if you're looking for a douche role for him, Lucas Lee certainly qualifies.)
That's a good point. Maybe that's it?
I'm trying to remember if I thought Evans was mocking himself as well in Scott Pilgrim at the time.
It was my favourite part of the movie, for sure. But then, I didn't like the movie all that much.
Tom Hardy is quoted as saying he'll probably not do another romantic comedy. Despite quoting the "probably" in the body of the article, Jezebel feels a) this warrants an article and b) they should remove the "probably" from the headline.
I sometimes get Chris Evans mixed up with Chris Pine, who seems douchier.
His Kirk comes off as a douchey fratboy, but most of the roles I've seen him in have been pretty earnest.
Someone on the IO9 Observation Deck did a statistical analysis of IO9's most used headline adjective, and the answer was "stunning, by a mile." I just realised that I subconsciously assumed that was an IO9 link before hovering over it.
Now I should watch it.
To those who bought the Bluray Winter Soldier--are the extra special special bits worth buying that over the DVD?
