"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yeah, the only interest I had was in Jamie Dornan (who apparently the fans are saying isn't hot enough, in case you needed further proof of how crazy they are how tastes differ). But even he's not pretty enough to subject myself to that.

I'm willing to wait for clips/screencaps of Dornan's skin scenes to hit the net (which they should about 30 seconds after the DVD goes on sale).

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Spectacular Spider-man

Was produced by Sony, not Marvel. It was canned prematurely because Marvel regained the rights to the animated character, and we have the shitty Ultimate Spider-Man show as a result.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't know. Tom's balance of the universe argument feels true, but Tep's salmon ladder theory makes a lot of sense.

The DC shorts have been consistently awesome: [link]

I think the potential for greatness is still there.

Right. Sorry, I was thinking Marvel characters, not actual Marvel-produced animation. I knew they axed Spec Spidey because they wanted to produce their own show in-house.

Poor Greg Weisman, I really hope he can break the "curse" and go more than 2 seasons with Star Wars: Rebels.

The DC shorts have been consistently awesome:

I find the shorts rather hit or miss myself, but I think some of it is I'm not into the style of humor they're going for. I agree the good ones are really good, though.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

On another shallow note as I rewatch Snowpiercer: CE has beautiful beard grain, or whatever you call the way facial hair grows on a mans jaw.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

So I saw Lucy. Kind of disappointed. Not nearly as much action as the trailers lead you to believe. Tries to be deep, kinda misses.

CJ was EXTREMELY excited about this fact. Made me watch the trailer as soon as I finished work and he was literally jumping up and down with excitement. My 18 year old geek boy. Gotta love him.

Epic - sorry to hear that about Lucy. I was very curious about that one.
