"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Julie,

now if you can. It has been out for a year overseas.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had some issues with Snowpiercer. Like, where's the residential area?? Also cows, as noted already. Other than that, it was all YES.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The thing that makes me hesitant to see Snowpiercer is the worry that I'll get thrown out of the story by constant wondering about who's repairing and clearing the train tracks if all the survivors are onboard. Much like my issue with Mira Grant's Feed regarding how infrastructure is maintained and the bazillion testing kits and protective devices manufactured if simply going out in public presents such an ever-present danger.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is a fair worry! I would say, if you can ignore almost all logistical questions, you're good to go.

Has anyone seen Deliver Us from Evil? I wasn't that interested, but apparently Joel McHale's in it, which makes it somewhat more interesting, but I still don't find the trailers promising. Anyone here have an opinion?

From having seen the ads, it is hilarious how Terry Gross was talking about it as a serious film in her interview with McHale recently.

I would swear I saw a live action B&W Dumbo on late night TV one night. Maybe it was the pain meds back when I was not sleeping. Wikipedia offers no joy.

Terry Gross' interview was how I discovered JMcH is in it. You'd certainly never know it from any of the trailers.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, is the thought that Snowpiercer will start playing in more and more theatres as times goes on, or is this now the window to see it before it disappears and I have to wait for a DVD?

It looks like it will be on more screens in this area come Friday, though still an hour away from me at the closest. it'll also be available On Demand on Friday.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Matt,

re: your white font.

VALID. But guess what, the story is unrelenting. So even if you get thrown out, you won't stay out long.
