Was Poltergeist where the creepy tree in the backyard tries to eat the kid? I've never seen the movie, but I came across that scene while flipping channels as a child and it terrified me.

Sorry, I was making a point about the tree not being AS scary. Seriously. I was in High School, I think, and the doll freaked me out. As it was meant to.
