Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, I desperately need crossover fic of this with the opening of The Hunger. John and Miriam cross paths with Adam and Eve, icy stares and pointed banter happen.

Where's the 'Like' button?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ah! Brilliant!

Man, Amazing Spider-Man 2 tried to cram WAY too much plotty stuff into one movie. That said, I liked it overall. If you go in accepting that Harry Osborne and Electro are going to chew the scenery like crazy, you can just sit back and go with it. I still really like Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, although I don't think anyone is supposed to accept that he's 19.

Also, I've been reading Spider-Man since I was 5, so even though I was unspoiled, I knew Gwen Stacy was going to die, because that's what happens to Gwen Stacy. Damn it.

And on the way home, Tim got to learn the phrase "Women in Refrigerators."

Oh, and this is only relevant to people who also watch Arrow, but (whitefonted for Spider-Man) Peter Parker is really giving Ollie competition in the "walking bag of pain" competition. Frankly, Batman needs to shut his whiny mouth.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I haven't watched the movie yet and normally don't like being spoiled, but I read the white font anyway because I wanted to know how they were handling that.

This is one instance where I would happily say screw reflecting the comic books.

My Veronica Mars DVD came!

Is it spoilery to talk about the making-of special?

I would, too. But apparently you can't have Gwen Stacy without fridging her eventually. Hell, in that scene, she was even wearing the same outfit from the original comic book. It was always going to happen, and it pisses me off, because I think Emma Stone did a great job as Gwen Stacy and needed to stick around.

I was trying to figure out, from this movie and visual hints dropped in it, who the Sinister Six could be in this iteration of the Spidey universe, and I've come up with The Lizard, The Vulture, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, and Rhino. Which would be pretty decent. And god knows I like Rhys Ifans WAY better as the Lizard than I do as Mycroft on Elementary.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I know a person who's on a commercially available DVD!

Oh, wait, I sleep with a person who's on a commercially available DVD. Sorry, Sunil, you're no longer as cool as I thought you were.

In a way I'm glad the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon didn't last long enough to reach that point. Though Weisman never said what his plans were on that front, as he responds to questions about the future story lines of any project he's worked on, no matter how unlikely to be revived, with "Spoilers. No comment." So things might have been different.

And I agree wholeheartedly on Emma Stone's Gwen.
