Didn't Bill Murray claim he did the voice of Garfield in the animated movie because he was mistaken about who was directing the movie?
Yes.
Garfield may hate Mondays, but Bill Murray loathes Garfield.
The “Caddyshack” star, who voiced the finicky feline in 2004’s “Garfield: The Movie,” revealed he took the part because he mistakenly thought it was penned by famed film scribe Joel Coen — and not Joel Cohen, a relative unknown.

I think this was after he fired his agents.
A Coen brothers version of Garfield? My imagination fails me.
Yeah. Apparently Murray didn't even read the script before signing on.
I love Aronofsky pretty much so I'm not convinced it will be as bad as the trailer implies.
I am. I just heard they won't be screening it for press.
Yeah, for most actors, even the picky ones, your job is to show up and act. The rest is not your job. And even in really bad movies, usually an actor took it because there was something about the project that caught their attention. Aronofsky directing Noah? Sure, why not? No matter how the movie turns out, that's an easy yes.
Saw the Lego Movie finally. Is it just me, or does Will Arnett do the best Batman voice ever? Certainly better than Bale's "I have a really sore throat" version. And I love Bale as Bats.
It's not just you. That was an AWESOME Batman.
(Cue "Everything is Awesome" earworm)
That earworm has saved me from the evil, EVIL promo before the movie for that ride at Disney with THAT song. Even the fact that Pepe the prawn introduced the clip was not enough to mitigate the horror of what followed.
Bless "Everything is Awesome".
In short: Where are my pants?
So...saw the recently released trailer of X-Men.
Under.whelmed. I'm actually a bit worried about the movie now. I hope it is better than X-Men 3.
