Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I assume it's also a good idea to put yourself out there if you're an actor. Better to be in a bad film once in a while than to disappear from the screen for a decade.

Because books.

Anthony Hopkins is in every movie, though. I think it's a law now.

brillig

I like Christopher Lee's approach. "I'm an actor, I act. They want to pay me to act. That's my job."

Thrive to spite them

Michael Caine took (takes?) movies for the money. Which is why he was in Jaws 3.

Although from what I understand sometimes actors sign a contract for a movie and by the time into production it's changed and it's difficult to get out of it.

Didn't Bill Murray claim he did the voice of Garfield in the animated movie because he was mistaken about who was directing the movie?

Hey. New board.

I love Aronofsky pretty much so I'm not convinced it will be as bad as the trailer implies.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yes.

Garfield may hate Mondays, but Bill Murray loathes Garfield.

The “Caddyshack” star, who voiced the finicky feline in 2004’s “Garfield: The Movie,” revealed he took the part because he mistakenly thought it was penned by famed film scribe Joel Coen — and not Joel Cohen, a relative unknown.

Bill Murray’s epic mistake led to starring role in ‘Garfield’ | New York Post

I think this was after he fired his agents.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

A Coen brothers version of Garfield? My imagination fails me.

Yeah. Apparently Murray didn't even read the script before signing on.
