The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just watched. That was fun!

Though I do feel sorry for Piz.

There, I said it.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I totally feel sorry for Piz, and pretty much think Veronica should have stayed with him, although I get that it's 100% in character for her to not only get with Logan but also stay in Neptune.

LOVED James Franco. He'll pretty much do anything, won't he?

I was just glad they gave him some agency, so that he was the one to end it before she could.

Because books.

Oh, I feel awful for Piz. Not least because he really loves her. I really like him! But I think he's her Riley.

One thing that confused me when I thought about it this morning was who was driving the car that hit Sacks and Keith? That never got resolved, right? And doesn't that make it feel like they deliberately left an opening for another movie, i.e. Keith cleaning up the sheriff's department?

One random contrast -- Jason Dohring lost all the baby roundness from his face, which was a little jarring at first, while the guy who played Sacks actually put on some weight, and looked really good, I thought.

Oh! And I was also confused by Weevil joining with the bike gang at the end. Unless that was part of the same "clean up the sheriff's department" storyline, for the future?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

First confusion: yeah, I assume it was someone from the Sheriff's department, and it's left open for the books or another movie.

Second confusion: when Veronica visits Weevil in the hospital, she tells him the stoolie said he bought the gun from HIM rather than the Sheriff's department, indicating that he was more afraid of the cops than him, to which Weevil responds, "We'll see what we can do about that." I think we needed a little more to understand that transition, but there you go.

One thing that was bittersweet was how many cast members they brought back -- it was so great to see so many of them, but it sort of sucked when you didn't get enough of some of them.

That said, there were perfect moments, like with Principal Clemmons. That's all I really needed to see with him, but I was really glad he agreed to do it.

I think Logan's Naval career also needed some more explanation -- given his record, I'm just not sure how he managed to sign up, learn to fly jets, fly them in combat, and be promoted to lieutenant in nine years, but he did look cute in the uniform. It was all very Officer and a Gentleman.
