Because books.

One thing that was bittersweet was how many cast members they brought back -- it was so great to see so many of them, but it sort of sucked when you didn't get enough of some of them.

That said, there were perfect moments, like with Principal Clemmons. That's all I really needed to see with him, but I was really glad he agreed to do it.

I think Logan's Naval career also needed some more explanation -- given his record, I'm just not sure how he managed to sign up, learn to fly jets, fly them in combat, and be promoted to lieutenant in nine years, but he did look cute in the uniform. It was all very Officer and a Gentleman.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I also thought that the last scene with Weevil was a continuation of Veronica's being true to who you are and embrace the mud speech, which makes sense to me, but also pisses me off a little because I liked that they had initially had him grow and change. I would rather have seen him paired up with Keith.

I agree, Lee!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yes! I wanted that since S3.

My love for Dick Casablancas is undiminished. I mean, I'm all about Weevil, but Dick is so cheerfully and unapologetically himself that I just love him. I didn't the first time I watched the show, until S3 made me a little sympathetic towards him, but on subsequent rewatches, I just thought, "Yup, gotta go with it. Embrace the Dick."

I agree with Lee too.

I watched the VM movie on Amazon and was actually glad I couldn't wait to see it on the big screen, which I'll do when my fellow local 'mallows are back in town.

I was glad because I actually screeched out loud a couple of times and would have embarrassed myself in a crowd.

I loved everything about it, even the change in the theme song which I originally loathed when I heard the separate audio for it. In the film, it was super clever.

Must confess that the main storyline was less interesting to me than the b-story. I hope all the dangling threads end up equally another film.

Having just recently binge watched the entire series, I caught tons of throwbacks. One I did not pin to the series was the "You should only wear this" line. Was that a throwback?

The instant bust around the Clint Eastwood lie was hilarious. I'd have thought it would make V more careful, but NO. Caution, thy name is not VM.

Randomly...love me some Leo!

I expected the Dax Shepherd cameo, but was surprised by Justin Long . I'm going to have to rewatch because I suspect _everyone_ in the background is connected in some way.

I don't think that line was a throwback, bonny. It didn't ring any bells for me, and I just mainlined the whole series again, too.

There was a lot of hand-clapping and "eeeeeee" noises on my couch, too, but S. just nodded and patted my knee. He did enjoy it, though -- he thought it was a lot of fun, and he never watched more than a few episodes of the first season in first run.

Thanks Amy. I'll stop wracking my brain.

Though I can't see it from the non-fan perspective, it does seem like a general crowd pleaser, what with the snark and the whizbang.

Much as I wish he had turned into a good guy, I was charmed by Vinnie's on-going sleezoidness.

Two more things:

1) They aren't implying that Mac quit her incredibly lucrative job at Kane Megacorp, right? That would make her less useful in future...

Which leads me to 2) So, Ex-Mrs. Kane shoots our beloved and never gets mentioned again ? That don't seem right.

Maybe that's the plot for the next movie.

Bonus last thing...I could think of a dozen or thirty things I'd have enjoyed more than the last thing before the credits.

Is he somebody's brother in law or something?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I just watched it and it was fun. Sucked me right back into Logan and Veronica. Love Keith with an undying passion. And Weevil. Mac was hot and Wallace was…Wallace that I love!

I thought the figure of a Deputy, silhouetted that made Keith and Sacks rabbit pretty much implicated the Sheriff's department. But, that is another story that I hope we see.

I have not mainlined the series. I haven't seen it since it went off the air, but I really loved seeing everybody again. Piz was definitely Verionica's Riley.

And I am becoming a James Franco fan. Never thought that would happen!

Love seeing Ira and his gang, too.
