I backed the Kickstarter mainly so that if it didn't show near me I would still be able to see it. Haven't decided yet if I want to go 20+ miles to see it in the theater...
Man, Winter Soldier just keeps looking more and more great. How is it that I like Captain America so much when I don't care for Superman at all?
I'm going to wear my Veronica Mars t-shirt and embarrass my husband by yelling "WEEEEEEVIL!" whenever he's onscreen.
...okay, I won't yell. I always threaten to, but then I don't. When we saw Les Miserables, I threatened to yell "Wolverine!" the first time Hugh Jackman appeared onscreen. I didn't. When we saw Thor 2, I was going to yell "Take your shirt off, Thor!"...but I didn't have to.
I'm all talk. No yelling.
It didn't even occur to me that VM would not have a location anywhere near me. But I'm in Regal territory - seriously, except for our tiny 3-screen Indy theater I don't think there's a non-Regal theater within an hours drive of me. No AMC theaters, no love for me.
This is the first moment I've been sad not to be in New York since I left, I think.
Oh well, I pre-ordered the HD copy on Vudu (did my part to make it successful anyway), so I'll be watching it on the 14th anyway.
Ah, my local theater is also Regal. I did think I had AMC closer than I am seeing showings, but maybe not.
My closest showing is in another state!
My husband informs me VM will be available On-Demand that weekend also.
