A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

It didn't even occur to me that VM would not have a location anywhere near me. But I'm in Regal territory - seriously, except for our tiny 3-screen Indy theater I don't think there's a non-Regal theater within an hours drive of me. No AMC theaters, no love for me.
This is the first moment I've been sad not to be in New York since I left, I think.
Oh well, I pre-ordered the HD copy on Vudu (did my part to make it successful anyway), so I'll be watching it on the 14th anyway.
Ah, my local theater is also Regal. I did think I had AMC closer than I am seeing showings, but maybe not.
My closest showing is in another state!
My husband informs me VM will be available On-Demand that weekend also.

Here's a nice review of that Tom Hiddleston/Tilda Swinton vampire movie by Jarmusch: [link]
That review just PROVES that this may end up being my perfect vampire movie.
I was thinking of you as I read it, Jilli!
