Vidding is tough. I tinkered with the notion for a while (went far as clipping and trying to lay down the clips on a timeline) but the learning curve was just way too steep and my tech know-how was too poor. I mean, you can do it with persistence, but it's apparently a huge time-suck and many of the seasoned vidders I know are fond of saying what stupid an hobby vidding is (but they say that with affection.)

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I hope someone has done a Dean Winchester vid to Veteran of the Psychic War. It was written for him.
While I'm glad Tom Hiddleston didn't get the part of Thor, I'm very glad he auditioned for the part of Thor. And I'm glad the Internet has shown me that audition. Very glad.
Has anyone who has seen 'Her' also seen 'Until the End of the World?'
I have not seen "Her", but this review/commentary seems to miss the mark a bit. I thought the point of "Her" was the main character's degree of self-obsession. I suppose this issue could dovetail with objectification of women, but I thought it was the primary point.
Yeah, no. I feel like I normally like Sady Doyle's writing, but in this case she's willfully ignoring the entire second half of the movie in order to make her point.
Jesse Eisenberg has been cast as Lex Luthor in the Batman/Superman movie. That makes casting Ben Affleck as Batman look good. I am so rooting for this film to bomb.
I can see Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor much more easily than I can see Ben Affleck as Batman.
I am so rooting for this film to bomb.
Why? Wouldn't it be better if it actually somehow great?
