Oh, no! How horrible.

Yikes. Doesn't he have young children, too? Such a shame.
In a car crash? That's...not quite ironic, but creepy as hell.
Seriously. And he wasn't even driving. And it was at a charity event.
Doesn't he have young children, too?
He has a daughter, 15.
Oh my god! That's so sad.
Getting caught up here, I actually enjoyed Thor 2 quite a bit. I think Thor has the best extended cast of the assorted Marvel movies.
And the Cap cameo was one of the funniest things I've seen all year.
Way behind on movies in general. I just picked up Pacific Rim when Amazon had it for crazy cheap this weekend. Hopefully I can find time to watch it soon.
Hiddleston said that he had played Loki pretending to be Cap, and Chris Evans watched the tape of it and modeled his performance on it, so what we got was not Evans playing Cap, but Evans pretending to be Loki pretending to be Cap. Which is totally different.
Well, I knew he wasn't actually playing Cap as Cap.
I know Hiddleston is really good at doing impressions, so the idea of Evans basing his performance on doing an impression of an impression doesn't surprise me, though it's still fun.
I saw Kill Your Darlings yesterday. Interesting to see a Beat Generation-themed movie that was centered on Ginsberg rather than Kerouac or Cassady. I was a bit thrown off by them showing him infatuated with Lucien Carr though; I thought they were just friends and it was Cassady that Ginsberg had a big crush on.
I want to see that one, Matt. Back in the day we would have called it "grad school trash" a la Gothic.

That's my take, but Ginsberg was so repressed and crushing on those around him, and Lucien was quite pretty.
(Note for grad school trash fanciers: Lucien's son Caleb Carr wrote The Alienest.)
