But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, I knew he wasn't actually playing Cap as Cap.

I know Hiddleston is really good at doing impressions, so the idea of Evans basing his performance on doing an impression of an impression doesn't surprise me, though it's still fun.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I saw Kill Your Darlings yesterday. Interesting to see a Beat Generation-themed movie that was centered on Ginsberg rather than Kerouac or Cassady. I was a bit thrown off by them showing him infatuated with Lucien Carr though; I thought they were just friends and it was Cassady that Ginsberg had a big crush on.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I want to see that one, Matt. Back in the day we would have called it "grad school trash" a la Gothic.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's my take, but Ginsberg was so repressed and crushing on those around him, and Lucien was quite pretty.

(Note for grad school trash fanciers: Lucien's son Caleb Carr wrote The Alienest.)

Here's a pretty fabulous supercut of 2013 movie trailers. [link]

Have some patience: it gets better as it goes along.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy shit, yeah. I agree. The first minute or so is okay, but then it's consistently awesome, and by the end, I had feels.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Gal Gadot cast as Wonder Woman.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Zach Synder, UGH. I would be otherwise psyched to see Wonder Woman on the big screen, but I just can't with Snyder.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, geez. I really want to see WW on the big screen, in a good role in a good movie, ideally HER OWN movie. But in a Zach Snyder movie, played by an actress that, sorry, I can't see giving the impression of the necessary physical strength...yeah, I'm not thrilled. Maybe they'll surprise me.
