I saw Oldboy - Spike Lee.
What a fucked up movie that is.
'Shells'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I wonder how it stacks up to the original, which was also pretty fucked up.
I did not see the original. Nor do I want to now. I understand the point of it all is more understandable in the original, but it was lost on me in this movie.
The movie is okay, but the plot is not good.
R.I.P. Paul Walker what the fuck. In a car crash, at 40.
In a car crash? That's...not quite ironic, but creepy as hell.
Oh, no! How horrible.
Yikes. Doesn't he have young children, too? Such a shame.

Seriously. And he wasn't even driving. And it was at a charity event.
Doesn't he have young children, too?
He has a daughter, 15.
Oh my god! That's so sad.
Getting caught up here, I actually enjoyed Thor 2 quite a bit. I think Thor has the best extended cast of the assorted Marvel movies.
And the Cap cameo was one of the funniest things I've seen all year.
Way behind on movies in general. I just picked up Pacific Rim when Amazon had it for crazy cheap this weekend. Hopefully I can find time to watch it soon.
