Who hasn't seen the original??
1976, Jesse. You work with plenty of people that haven't seen it, I bet.
Hey, there's no hand shooting out of a grave in the trailer, right? So there's something left...
I think with Carrie there's still a way to make a coming of age horror film with good writers and actors if you know what they've shown in the trailer. It's loose enough, but it could still be Carrie.
Ender's Game, on the other hand? What the
fuck
are they doing to the story? That I know I'm not seeing. I might borrow the book from a library or buy it second hand and BookCross it or something, with a note in the front about stuff...
I'm not going to be able to resist Julianne Moore as Carrie's mom, either.

I mean, I guess. I only saw it in 2000s, though.
Who hasn't seen the original??
Me!
Nor have I seen the trailer for the new one, so as a data point I can probably be disregarded. In this instance. Sometimes I'm still significant, I hope.
In the trailer, it seriously looks like oil, but that makes no sense, right?
I'll have to watch it -- I have no idea why they would change it. Blood is so much more symbolic, unless they're secretly railing against Haliburton.
It was pretty dark, could have still been blood.
Has anyone seen the trailer for the Carrie remake? If so, why did they appear to have changed the blood dumped on Carrie into oil?
Would you know where to get a bucket of blood for a practical joke?
