Compassionately intolerant

I think I'd get really confused, switching back and forth between parallel universes. Hell, I get confused switching rooms in my house.

omg, totally me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I saw In A World last night and really enjoyed it. Funny, loaded with complicated, believable relationships and charming as hell. Written and directed by a woman, too. A lovely little movie.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

TCM has "Psycho" on now. They are doing a Hitchcock marathon.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I haven't seen this movie from the beginning in a LONG time.

Because books.

It's one of my favorites. I'll have to see what comes on next.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think the marathon ends with this. Next is "The Lodger."

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Just saw World's End.

Question--was the scene near the start of the movie where Gary was

I think the answer is probably - yes. Because I know at least one person who had to go to 12-step meetings during in-patient psych care. I didn't pick up on the hospital aspect, though, I just assumed 12-step.

I would say that World's End is easily my favorite of the trio, and I will readily admit that's partially because the blue goo allowed me to thorougly enjoy the fight scenes without getting hung up on the gore. I'd see it again in a heartbeat. Also, kind of in love with Nick Frost right now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But smonster, my conclusion was not only that it was in an institution, but that it also wasn't twelve step but related to the suicide attempts instead. In retrospect, it didn't feel like he'd had help for addiction but rather for being suicidal.
