I loved how long it took Mariko to remember
That was ridic.
I would have loved to feel more attachment to the
Jean
scenes, but the clusterfuck that was the last adult Xmen movie negated that.
Also, her whining about being left alone in a bird-song sundress afterlife was weak.
I've gotten so used to considering X3 a bad dream that I totally forgot
that he killed Jean. Or Dark Phoenix. Or whatever that was.
Throughout those scenes I was thinking
"If you're so lonely, raise your damn self from the dead! That's what you do, right?"
I took the opportunity to see Black Fish this afternoon. It was heartbreaking hearing the story of how Seaworld obtained many of its killer whales back in the 70s, and utterly chilling to find out the details surrounding Tilikum, the largest captive orca. He's killed (and in one case partially eaten) two of his trainers, and also killed a man who illegally entered his pool at night in a fashion that would suit a horror movie.
Yay, Iron Man 3 finally made it to the dollar movie and I have seen it! I can now read all the new fanfic and read the white font.
Hey, the whole Cornetto trilogy is being shown Thursday night at select AMC theatres: [link]
Ooh, I could theoretically do that! But can I actually handle 6 hours in a theater on a Thursday? I don't think I can take Friday off at this point. Hm.
OK this is hilarious: [link]
