Suddenly realized that I didn't have enough Rolling Stones in my music library, which led me to one my early-90's guilty pleasure movies: Freejack.
Man, that trailer was so cheesy. But I remember that it hit a lot of my whump buttons.
'Just Rewards (2)'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Oh, I loved Freejack.
Me too! I mean, I remember almost nothing about it, and it may be objectively terrible, but I have good feelings about it from when I was a kid. That was when Emilio Estevez drove back in time and made out with Reese Witherspoon, right?
Rene Russo.
Ooh, Reese Witherspoon was in something else. Freeway ?
And Jagger made a great villain.
Mick was great in it.
Dana, regarding Jodie Foster's character and her accent: I thought the character was supposed to be French -- she had a French name ("Delacourt") and spoke French with her family. Her odd accent was supposed to be from a twinge of French accent in someone who's otherwise completely fluent in English, I think. I agree it sounded a bit weird though.
If that was the intent, it didn't sound French to me. And I know Foster is fluent in French, so it's a shame that the accent was so distracting.
I saw Mud last night. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I was a little worried there for a minute about the portrayal of women characters. They weren't nearly developed enough, but they weren't all totally bad - like the way I thought they were going to go.
