All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Which strikes me as possibly the most hilarious sequel. Taken. AGAIN. Taken: Another Family Member.

I can't wait for Taken 3: And Your Little Dog, Too!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Thing is, Taken was not a good movie. Like the first 20 minutes are okay...then BOOM. The abyss.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Not sure where to put this, but ABC has a greenlit a pilot for a S.H.I.E.L.D. tv series with Joss, Jed and Maurissa onboard. [link]

brillig

Makes me think of Last Action Hero, where Arnold's character keeps having family members killed off in every movie.

I believe Last Action Hero is a very underrated movie. It's a wonderful send up of action movie tropes. "Excuse me! I have just shot a man! Does anyone care?" "Shut up down there!"

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think he's great. But I thought Everybody kind of agreed on it after (500) Days. although I like the Lookout a lot.

I was thinking it was after Brick (The Lookout is good to), but I suppose, yeah, that's when he became mainstream indie popular.

I have it in my Instant Queue. I hope it holds up. I remember really digging it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Yeah I was dragged kicking and screaming to Last Action Hero and now it is one of my favorites.

I loved Last Action Hero, but I remember there being a lot of hate for it when it came out. I originally chalked it up to people not realizing it was supposed to be a send up, though I did recently read a review where someone hated it because of the real world stuff. They just wanted an over-the-top action parody. Which is fine, I suppose, but I much prefer the version we got.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have no memory of that film, pretty much. But I'm not much of an Arnie fan at the best of times.
