I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Actually, I would have liked to see that A LOT. Many times.

Yes, I would pay to see that movie in the theater myself.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I was hoping Alfred would show up at the end for an "I'd like to test that theory" moment. OOC to be sure, but still.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

TDKR dropped 76% from last Friday. Ouch, although the first Friday did include midnight showings. Olympics surely didn't help. It's not going to beat TDK, let alone The Avengers.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally saw Moonrise Kingdom today. I loved it. I'm going to have to look up exactly where they filmed in RI. Some things looked familiar, but it was shot is such a stylized way that it is hard to recognize things. I definitely think I know where the church in the film is located.

They scouted locations for Moonrise Kingdom with Google Earth.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I still haven't seen TDKR, but I was wondering what people who tend to have stronger opinions on Batman than I do think about these designs: [link]

That's a really weird Nightwing costume, though. I thought she was Catwoman or something. I mean, it's cool; it just doesn't scream Nightwing to me. The Robin outfit is good, though, I agree.

Compassionately intolerant

I had to giggle when Blake enters the old batcave with Bruce's will ringing in my ears. The manor and grounds are deeded to the city with the understanding that they will never be sold or altered in any way.

It just made sense to me that the stipulations were to protect the underground lair .
