I was like,
$17.75
for IMAX? WITH fees? But...Inception was awesome in IMAX! And I never saw TDK in IMAX! So...let's splurge.
Javi doesn't seem to have liked it from what I caught of his vaguely spoilery post, but his issues seem to be similar to Jessica's, regarding morals and politics. I just want a good movie, man.
P-C, are you going tonight?
My ticket for tomorrow morning is costing me $18.25
Holy fuck. I'm so glad I don't pay for movies.
Still, if you can afford it, I highly recommend the IMAX. The IMAX-filmed scenes are fucking amazing. The opening sequence alone is something I'd pay to see again.
(In spite of the movie leaving me in an ethical quandary, I do really want to see it again, even if I have to pay for it. Which isn't something I felt about Avengers - as much fun as it was, there wasn't anything in there I felt like I needed to see over again so that I could fully process it.)
18.75 is the full price, though -- you're not getting the matinee price (16.75) even though it's 3:30 am.
Oh, right, THAT kind of morning. Some people call that night.
I highly recommend the IMAX
Oh, really? I probably won't see it 'til Tuesday, but now I'll consider the IMAX option.
Most of the seats left when I bought my ticket were first row IMAX.
Yeah, uhuh, but no thanks.
I do not recommend IMAX from the front row. Ow.
F23. A bit wide, and further back than I normally sit on my own but it was this, front row, or the flip side of the theatre same distance back. So I choose better for my second viewing. No bigs.
(I wore my Batman belt buckle to work today, to get me through--and I overheard someone I've never spoken to before telling their coworkers they had a night/morning ticket, so we briefly yelled over the cube walls about it--I still have no idea what this person looks like, but he is my people)
