Most of the seats left when I bought my ticket were first row IMAX.
Yeah, uhuh, but no thanks.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I do not recommend IMAX from the front row. Ow.

(I wore my Batman belt buckle to work today, to get me through--and I overheard someone I've never spoken to before telling their coworkers they had a night/morning ticket, so we briefly yelled over the cube walls about it--I still have no idea what this person looks like, but he is my people)
It looks like I'm going out dancing tonight and then Batman. Gonna be a LONG night. I only have 1 hour of OT so far this week, so I will be working tomorrow.
I knew what that had to be, and I was right.
right?
Could it have been anything else?
Charlottesville is getting an IMAX theater this fall. Wonder if they'll screen TDKR? I'd like to see it in IMAX, but not enough to travel very far to do it.
We're going to a 2:45 showing of Dark Knight Verbs tomorrow, thanks to my company. Because nothing says team morale like chaos, destruction, and Christian Bale doing his "action hero" voice.
