Y'all, RunPee.com is your friend. It tells you the points in a movie to go to the bathroom, so that you won't miss anything crucial (example: in Captain America, during his USO tour scene).
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I had to go during Inception -- I went during the beginning of the snow level. But that was another movie I thought had ended and wound up having another hour or something. Good, but long.
I can make the odd work day without peeing, but it's not fun. I'd rather want to pee at work than have to have to pee on the way home, and it's pretty clear I'm not hydrating right if I achieve it easily.
Judging by my mum's bladder, I might be okay for single movies until I retire.
I have taken a bathroom break in every movie, ever. I remember dying during the movie Casino, and my friend kept telling me it had to be over soon. Finally I ran to the bathroom about 2 minutes before the movie ended.
Kind of appropriate to be the movie in which you gambled and lost.
I'd be planning to go even if they were giving it a 9% fresh, but still, it's nice to see.
Btw. What Calli said. I am seeing this movie when it opens. Even if that notorious New York critic actually LIKES it.
My rule of thumb: No caffeine within 1 hr of starting the movie. No sodas during the film (I take a small water bottle). Pee just before the movie. If I do that, I usually don't have to worry about bathroom break during the film.
2 hrs and 45 min is pretty frackin' long though.
Even if that notorious New York critic actually LIKES it.
Rex Reed? Ha. Yeah, we'll see.
RunPee doesn't have DKR yet, but I'll let y'all know where the pee breaks are.
I was able to do FotREE and TTTEE w/o peebreaks - but that was before I was on a diuretic.
I'm guessing that pee breaks will be necessary for the Hobbit too.

What brave new world that has such wonders in it.
edit: oh, I see. It's for smartphones. Not useful to me, then.
