"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The beady-eyed guy most prominently featured is one of the stars/creators of Workaholics. That doesn't bode well.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So disappointed about Brave. Hmmph.

ATTACK THE BLOCK’s Joe Cornish To Direct Cyberpunk Classic SNOW CRASH.

Who knows if it'll actually happen, but it's exciting!

I do not like the book (I think I bounce off of Stephenson's writing hard, since lord knows I like my cyberpunk), but it could be an awesome movie, done right.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So disappointed about Brave. Hmmph.

Yeah, even the positive reviews tend to agree that it's a lesser Pixar effort. Sad.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Woes! I was so super excited about it.

I hope it doesn't bomb at the box office just so we don't have the old "No one wants to see a movie with a female protagonist" argument again.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

There will be no stopping Matilda, so I'll certainly see it anyway, just with lowered expectations. Then again, I own and love Tangled and Enchanted, so what do I know? I'll probably be stupidly happy.

The Badass Digest reviewer danced around a major plot point in the second act of the film, explaining with irritation that the studio had asked reviewers please, please not to spoil this huge major surprise. Which, if I'm guessing right, was ALREADY COMPLETELY SPOILED by the avalanche of coloring books and activity books and Little Golden Books that Barnes & Noble has been frantically shilling for the last three weeks.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Which, if I'm guessing right, was ALREADY COMPLETELY SPOILED

Yeah, I got spoiled by the ancillary materials.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Then again, I own and love Tangled and Enchanted, so what do I know? I'll probably be stupidly happy.

I love both of those. Brave tries to do something different with the whole princess thing, and just never quite gets there.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Snow White and the Huntsman: I've heard several comment about the many ripped off scenes in the movie, and the only one I can think of is the one from Never Ending Story, with the horse dying in the swamp.

What were the others?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What were the others?

The friends we were with mentioned Lord of the Rings, but I don't remember what scenes. The big monster that Snow White meets in the woods looks like it was pulled directly out of Pan's Labyrinth.
