Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did anyone watch the Avengers/Lady Gaga Bad Romance mashup?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

If it continues to do business in the millions every day it could be in the theaters for a long, long time.

Plus second-run thaters. I saw moneyball at the local cheap theater the weekend after it hit DVD.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

In case anyone's wondering if she can carry the role of Eponine, here she is singing On My Own from the Les Mis 25th Anniversary concert: [link]

Watched the video. She does a decent job, though she doesn't quite have the pipes of some of her predecessors in the role.

Watched the video of her doing "A Little Fall of Rain" as well but the effect was ruined by the unfortunate Jonas Brother quotient. First time in my life I've ever heard that song without at least tearing up. His facial expressions were just too ridiculous for me to concentrate on the singing.

Here's a nice piece of Black Widow & Hawkeye fanart: [link]

I really like how she nailed Renner's profile, even from that angle.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Nice!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Kalshane, I was watching some of the videos from that production, and the actor who played the drunk student had apparently made the choice that his interpretation for every other line was going to be "Shut up, Marius." I agreed and loved him immediately.

Hah! That's awesome.

I'm generally Disney-pop ambivalent (I don't hate on general principle, I just avoid for the sake of sanity) and so when I first started watching I was thinking "Wow, Marius really can't act. But he looks kind of familiar." then I glanced down at the comments and saw his name and understood the reason for both observations.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We watched Thor again tonight, and were talking about how Loki's plans start out fine but then fail. Tim said "Loki is basically Mojo Jojo." Which is kinda true.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Tim said "Loki is basically Mojo Jojo."

Heh. That would make such a good tumblr.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm reading some people dissing Coulson. Calling him a bit player, and responding to Gregg's interview quotes as if he were getting too big for his britches.

I thought there was a clear, canonical nudge-nudge-wink-wink that establishes him as badass, up to and including this poster, the post-credit tags, and at least one of the shorts--the Funny Thing Happened one...

Now I'm wondering if I'm responding to him in a parallel way to how I see people responding to Loki, but I swear it's in the text! Son of Coul rocks.
