I would not have guessed that Steve actually got more screentime than Tony, as I was left wanting more of the former and less of the latter.
Loki seemed to know plenty about the Earth when he was visiting Thor during his imprisonment in the Branagh film. I gathered that he may have traveled to the planet on his own and learned a thing or two prior to the events of that movie.

I don't think I am going to watch this in the theater. Robert Redford = Gatsby to me.
I do like the cast, though, and think they can be interesting in Baz Luhrmann's hands. But I have no great attachment to the story in any version.

This is probably sacrilege, but I did not like Moulin Rouge. I loved Strictly Ballroom and I watch that a couple of times a year. I did not like Romeo + Juliet either.
I don't think he's my kind of director.
Oh, I love Moulin Rouge. I almost watched it today, actually. I'm eh on Romeo + Juliet, although I can appreciate what he did with it. Haven't seen the other.
I never watch movies in the theatre (the last move I saw in the theatre was Chicago), but I have watched all the Baz Luhrman films in the theatre, and they are usually so lush it is worth it. One thing I love about him is the humor in his over the top ness, which I can't really imagine in Gatsby, though. I laughed a lot in R +J and MR.
Wow, that trailer is... busy. He's got a distinctive aesthetic, to be sure, but I generally find Baz Luhrman's work exhausting to partake in. Which is too bad because I really like that cast, but I worry it's gonna be buried under all that glitter.
Carey Mulligan as Daisy is an interesting choice. She's got a certain soulfulness which goes counter to my idea of Daisy, who in my head is beautiful but callous and superficial.
