A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Here? I don't think that they're close enough in size for the to be fitting too well. I think that's just costuming.

They seem less baggy/shapeless than the rest of the clothes he wore throughout the movie though. Or my memory of them.

In the teeny tiny Avengers I bought, poor Hulk has ONE PANT LEG. No wonder he's angry.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

RDJ has a slimmer body type than Ruffalo. While it's fun to imagine Tony gave Bruce his clothes, it's more fun to imagine they went shopping! Okay, probably Jarvis got his measurements and had clothes delivered. Still. Bruce got those snazzy duds somewhere, didn't he?

Where did they stash Loki while they all ate shawarma after the battle?

On rewatching, I'm enjoying the "wait, how did that happen?" moments.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Where did they

I vote locked in the walk-in. He's a Frost Giant, after all.

Excxellent idea. I declare this headcanon.

Today I saw somebody write "headcannon" and I laughed at them.

I feel like there was one of these in Petrosinella, a version of Rapunzel I had as a child.

Where did they

I'm handwaving that one, and/or going with a vague Nick Fury/S.H.I.E.L.D. answer.

On rewatching, I'm enjoying the "wait, how did that happen?" moments.

I honestly still don't *quite* get how Bruce became UNCONTROLLABLE!RAGE!Hulk on the Helicarrier, but then was able to choose to Hulk out and *control* himself in the final battle.

I feel like the explanation for it was a cut scene, or something. Like, after naked Bruce landed in Harry Dean Stanton's warehouse of rubble, Bruce said, "Well, gotta go be a superhero now, which I just realized I can control!"

Doesn't ruin the movie for me, but after 2 viewings, I still don't quite get it.

I also just realized that the reason Loki was so good at conveying the Silence of the Lambs vibe in his scene with Black Widow (despite still getting his ass handed to him) was that, duh, his (adopted) Dad did it years and years ago. (Props to Anthony Hopkins that he's been able to avoid the typecasting of Hannibal Lecter.)

See, I can handwave that with HDS telling him that the Other Guy was conscious when he fell and suggesting that he chose a place with no people. That plus Tony's line about the Arc Reactor being a part of him and stuff. IDK.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Doesn't ruin the movie for me, but after 2 viewings, I still don't quite get it.

I thought it was all about Loki's chaos spear-thingy, which drove everybody to an argumentative state, but for the Hulk to be near a (let's say) Chaos Generating Power Center would be especially difficult/dangerous. In fact, he was Loki's target all the time as BW's interrogation showed.

Huh. I guess we don't need to white font any more. SPOILER ALERT, PEOPLES.

I didn't see the Hulk movie, was he able to control himself at all in that one? Did he try?
