I was not impressed with the capsule of doom that Thor got tossed into. It seemed like he could have broken out of it a lot sooner if he'd had his wits about him (Oh, hey, let's stop bouncing round the room and punch through the glass!)

That Photoshop job is great!

It only took one additional blow with Mjolnir to shatter the glass. If he'd leapt at the point where he'd already cracked it while Loki was monologue-ing, he could have broken out before the clamps released.
