I said Dark Shadows looked sort of Addams Family-esque to me after the first trailer! But it sounds like that might be the best case scenario. The Addams Family isn't really campy.
I saw the Austin Powers movies but I was never really moved to see them again. Although Ben and S. do the whole "schmoke and a pancake" bit a lot. And, you know, the sharks with frigging laser beams on their heads. I did love Seth Green in those.

The Addams Family isn't really campy.
The joy in those movies for me is everyone around the Addams is doing the fish-out-of-water thing and the Addams are being as kind as possible to all the people who just don't get it.
