I have no idea what you're all talking about, because Coulson is not dead, la la la. (I have to go write my fixit fic before I read everyone else's fixit fic.)
Dana, I was hoping he was faking just to give a catalyst to the team to act like a damn team.
That is clearly what happened.
Well, especially when Agent Cobie (can't remember her character name) said the Captain America cards weren't in Coulson's jacket, I was all, "It's a fake! It's all a FAKE!" And then I remembered it's a damn Joss Whedon movie.
Yeah, well, whatever, Joss. I am so over this need of his to kill someone off to prove that it's REALLY SERIOUS UP IN HERE.
I'm just glad it wasn't Pepper or Erik Selvig.
Matt, I totally expected Erik to sacrificially die while closing the portal.
Joss couldn't kill Pepper, because there's gotta be another Iron Man movie in the works.

Interrupting the Avengers squee to post this piece about a fan campaigning for Jesse Williams from Cabin in the Woods and Grey's Anatomy to play Finnick in Catching Fire and Mockingjay. I think he looks pretty good for the role.
