"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Frank,

you know what I really want? RDJ and Cumberbatch together.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I gotta say, seeing Avengers a week after Hunger Games makes me wonder what Joss could have done with THAT franchise. Damn.

I haven't seen Avengers yet, but Cabin in the Woods gave me the same thought.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I got home from China this morning.

I'm seeing the Avengers with my brother tomorrow afternoon.

Compassionately intolerant

Thanks Matt!

Frank, Enver was the cop on the left when Cap was giving orders to set a perimeter at 39th Street, etc .

My friend noticed Alexis' name in the credits. I'm generally aces with voices and such, but I had NO idea .

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Dangit, I missed

Second post-credits scene.

I'm generally aces with voices and such, but I had NO idea .

Me neither! I'll have to listen more closely.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Also, gotta say HARRY DEAN STANTON!!!!!

That was just an awesome moment, in the quiet sense.

I thought that's who that was!

I'm generally aces with voices and such, but I had NO idea .

Me neither! I'll have to listen more closely.

Well, there was voice FX, right, to make him sound like whatever creepy deathmongering thing he was, wasn't there?

That was a great scene. We were speculating that it was originally going to be the Stan Lee cameo, but he couldn't actually, you know, act.

Well, there was voice FX

Yes, to make him sound more unintelligible than Bane.

Ha, nice.

Speaking of, can we talk about how awesome Black Widow was—well,in general, but also—in her first scene where she KICKED BACK FROM SOMEONE'S STOMACH ONTO THE FLOOR AND PROPELLED HERSELF BACK WITH HER HANDS?

The movie did right by the "normals". I loved that

both Black Widow and Hawkeye were integral to stopping the bad guys in the end.
