All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Looks like the post-converted 3D actually looks pretty good, which is nice because the 3D showings are more convenient for me on opening night.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

We used to have what a friend always called the "interactive" movie theater - lots of commentary on the movie.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah, that's my fave too.

That moment is definitely one of the high points of the trailers.

Oh, and the Stark snark.

Yes. But that's kind of lost on a nearly 5 year-old. He's just starting to grasp non-physical humor. The awesome of Hulk saving Iron Man transcends language.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm reading an exploitation film site (not straight up porn - mostly - but sleezy actioneers and grindhouse style) and need to share some of the excellent titles.

What Have You Done With Solange? (1972)
Don't Torture a Duckling (1972) (these are both famous Italian giallo, btw)
A Lizard in a Woman's Skin (1971)
Black Belly of the Tarantula (1971)
Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion (1970)
Horrors of Malformed Men (1969)
Porno Holocaust (1981)
Django, Prepare a Coffin (1968)
The Sexplorer (1975)
Hunchback of the Morgue (1973)
Hatchet for the Honeymoon (1970) (Frank knows this, I bet. Bava!)
The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave (1971)
Satanico Pandemonium (1975)
The ABC of Love and Sex Australian Style (1978)
The Naughty Stewardesses (1975)
Flavia the Heretic (1974) (a well known nunsploitation movie)
Clockwork Terror (1973) (a Spanish knock off of Clockwork Orange that I just happen to have)
Gestapo's Last Orgy (1978)

....and my favorite exploitation title....

:::drumroll:::

Your Vice Is a Locked Room And Only I Have the Key (1972)

Starring the loveliest of eurotrash actresses, Edwidge Fenech. Rowrrr.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They're even better when you mash them up.

Django, Prepare a Malformed Man!

Hatchet for the Hunchback!

Don't Torture the Sexplorer!

The Night the Porno Holocaust Came Out of the Grave!

What Have You Done With the Naughty Stewardess?!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Hatchet for the Honeymoon (1970) (Frank knows this, I bet. Bava!)

I own it in fact. Pretty good movie, though the 70s Italian fashions are a bit much too much.

Another great title from that era: Death Laid an Egg.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Satanico Pandemonium

This sounds like the name of a VERY ill-conceived kids' show.

(a well known nunsploitation movie)

Nunsploitation is a genre you just don't hear much about.

Sacrilege! 70s Italian fashions MUST be over the top.

Nunsploitation is a genre you just don't hear much about.

You're not hanging out with the right crowd. Which would include mostly 70s Italian filmmakers with lots of Catholic school issues.

Another great title from that era: Death Laid an Egg.

I've seen that! And I'd love to own it just for the Gina Lollabridga. So sexy there in her early 40s.

This sounds like the name of a VERY ill-conceived kids' show.

Brazil would do a show like this. Remember Super Xuxa Vs. Satan? Xuxa!

It kinda dilutes any scariness, though. Valli's shoes in Suspiria were ridiculous enough (as they squished maggots) to throw me out of the movie even when I saw it at thirteen!
