Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They're even better when you mash them up.

Django, Prepare a Malformed Man!

Hatchet for the Hunchback!

Don't Torture the Sexplorer!

The Night the Porno Holocaust Came Out of the Grave!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Hatchet for the Honeymoon (1970) (Frank knows this, I bet. Bava!)

I own it in fact. Pretty good movie, though the 70s Italian fashions are a bit much too much.

Another great title from that era: Death Laid an Egg.

Satanico Pandemonium

This sounds like the name of a VERY ill-conceived kids' show.

(a well known nunsploitation movie)

Nunsploitation is a genre you just don't hear much about.

Sacrilege! 70s Italian fashions MUST be over the top.

You're not hanging out with the right crowd. Which would include mostly 70s Italian filmmakers with lots of Catholic school issues.

I've seen that! And I'd love to own it just for the Gina Lollabridga. So sexy there in her early 40s.

Brazil would do a show like this. Remember Super Xuxa Vs. Satan? Xuxa!

It kinda dilutes any scariness, though. Valli's shoes in Suspiria were ridiculous enough (as they squished maggots) to throw me out of the movie even when I saw it at thirteen!

Oh, my. YES.

I can't remember: who does JGL play?

He's playing a Gotham cop, but no one from the comics.

Coincidentally, I'm about to start reading Gotham Central !

That trailer scares me. This July, Christopher Nolan destroys us all.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

right?

I came away thinking: I might just cry in a Nolan movie. I haven't done so yet, but I think he might get me this time.

BTW, what is Bane saying the first time? I can make out his second remarks, but not the short first one.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

he says, "i'm Gotham's reckoning.".
