Jeez, don't get all Movie of the Week. I was just too cheap to buy you a real present.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

His favorite part from all the trailers was the Hulk catching Iron Man.

Yeah, that's my fave too.

Oh, and the Stark snark.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tim said he thought it would be entertaining to take me for drinks before going to see The Avengers. I told him if he means getting kicked out of the theater is entertaining, then okay!

Him: Why would you get kicked out?
Me: Have you MET me? I would be yelling, "Thor, take your shirt off! TAKE YOUR SHIIIIIIRT OFF!!!" and "Kiss him! Damn it, Tony, Steve wants you to KISSSS HIMMMMMM!!!!"

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I once came close to getting kicked out of a movie because I was giggling hysterically throughout ... and I wasn't the least bit drunk.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I dunno Teppy. Hearing you shout that might be worth getting kicked out of the theater for. But I'd want to see the movie too. Maybe modify an old Viking tradition. One showing the movie sober, another showing of the movie drunk.

But I'd want to see the movie too.

Therein lies the problem. I think yelling at the screen will have to wait until the DVD comes out.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think yelling at the screen will have to wait until the DVD comes out.

Not if you see a movie at Times Square. Do they still have movie theaters at Times Square? Seedy ones where people yell at the screen?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally saw Cabin in the Woods last night. I was afraid I had built it up too much in my mind and would be disappointed. But no, it was fabulous! I don't like horror movies, but I loved it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

There's the AMC Empire and the Regal E-Walk. They're both about averagely dirty, not enough to qualify as "seedy."

That era passed around the time the Disney store moved into the neighborhood.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Looks like the post-converted 3D actually looks pretty good, which is nice because the 3D showings are more convenient for me on opening night.
