Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Y'all have sparked my interest in The Avengers. I'm not a comic book person, but I've been rewatching both Iron Main movies and watching Thor, Captain America, and The Hulk. Is there any other homework I should do in preparation?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Find out who that archer guy is. Then tell me.

Also, who is the woman who is not Scarlett Johansson?

hwæt

There are two Hulk movies; the one with Ed Norton is the more relevant one.

Not really. The movie has to stand on its own, because although comics fans will obviously go see it, the majority of viewers are going to be people who have never picked up a comic.

Will there be things in it that comics readers will catch that you won't (like Hawkeye in Thor)? Sure, but the movie won't hinge on it. You can't make a movie that way and expect it to do huge box-office numbers.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Archer guy is Hawkeye. He's... an archer. Not superpowered or anything.

I never did get around to seeing that. Maybe this weekend.

Not superpowered or anything.

Doesn't he have a thing where he's unable to miss a shot? Which isn't technically a superpower, I suppose. (Also, I don't know if it's true, since I never read any Avengers.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just put all those pre-Avenger movies in my Netflix queue yesterday! I guess it's about the right time to start prepping. I've only seen the first Iron Man, and I'm going to go ahead and watch it again because I know I liked it the first time but I don't really remember specifics.

I'm actually not 100% sure - I'm pretty much the "huh, is that some Marvel thing?" person in my comics group. But he doesn't, like, grow to giant size and become radioactive or anything Marvelicious like that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, who is the woman who is not Scarlett Johansson?

Cobie Smulders? I only know that she's in it from Go Fug Yourself and similar.

Will there be things in it that comics readers will catch that you won't (like Hawkeye in Thor)?

As a non-comics reader, I caught that (not Hawkeye specifically, of course) because it was Jeremy Renner. "Why would they have Jeremy Renner in one scene of this movie? ....Oh, he must be Somebody."
