"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Funny you should mention that, Jesse, I thought it was fanon run amok, but maybe not.

brillig

But not being able to mention her name? Y'all are funny.

Her teeth give me the creeps.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought it was fanon run amok, but maybe not.

That is also possible! I mean, I got it from somewhere, but maybe not somewhere reputable.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hmm, Electra Luxx sounds worth renting.

JZ, I bet I'd enjoy the visuals. I can't promise I'll see it, due to the lack of fun funds in my life, but if I do I will let you know!

StW nearly hurt himself laughing over the Moonrise Kingdom trailer. I think it makes him a little sad that I don't like Wes Anderson *at all*.

Last Days of Disco is the Stillman film I loved dearly, and I enjoyed Barcelona, but Metropolitan bored me to tears.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

For a bit there I was confusing Snow White and the Hunter with Mirror, Mirror. And I was thinking that Kristen Stewart shouldn't be mistreated because of an awful trilogy to the point of her name being avoided (and while I was still confused, I was trying to figure out why people loathed Charlize Theron).

But, yeah. I've had a problem with she-who-must-not-be-named-horse-face [cuz it's mean] on the basis of aesthetics alone. The acting looks dreadful in the trailers, too, on her part. I never got her. And when I saw Mary O'Reilly (or whatever that movie was with John Malkovich) I finally understood the horror of her face. I like her in certain roles, but the trailer for Mirror, Mirror makes me cringe

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I was just thinking that it might have been a commentary, Jesse. If so, the creators believe it...they had a nice little chemistry...it would be good to see her on there again.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Huh. I hadn't heard that about Gugino in Justified. Great! Instant headcanon it is!

I've actually liked J-Ro a lot in a few movies, mostly where she was meant to be hugely unsympathetic. I know there are a lot of people who hate it, but I freakin' adore My Best Friend's Wedding because her character is such a blind trainwreck. She's destructive and self-obsessed, but I thought the scene where she confesses her feelings (and have them blown up on her face) was just terrific. Not to mention the denouement, which dares to go counter to decades of "Platonic Girl/Boy BFF but Secretly Meant To Be" tradition.

Another one I adored was Duplicity. Roberts and Clive Owen were super fun together, and the script was witty and smart. I was quite sad that it did not do well in Box Office, because I wanted more movies like that.
